1.CONDITIONS : A dreadful day,the drive up hazardous to say the least,the pitch though did hold up well,with the amount of rain it took. 7/10
2.GROUND : Small main stand,but covered ends behind both goals,floodlighting though not great. 6/10
3.PARKING : Very small 3/10,but off street parking available and the chairman directed me and Pete to the doctors surgery!?!? Which had plenty of room 7/10
4.ADMISSION : £8 Adults,£5 U16’s U5’s Free. Here we go again £5 U16’s 4/10
5.CUISINE : Chips were good at £1,but my taster was’nt happy with his cheeseburger 5/10 (7/10 for the chips)
6.BAR : Nice bar with sky sports,and my beer taster was happy with his pint 8/10
7.TOILETS : Small,but clean and tidy which a dining table in the gents!?!? 7/10
8.PROGRAMME : £2 Very colourful but the content not great. I find £2 a little steep for this level,but fortunately today I got mine for free (Thanks you Mr T) 5/10
9.CLUB SHOP : Well stocked with local produce,brought a friend a home badge for £3.8/10
10.MAN OF THE MATCH : The return of Sam Denly tightened up the back,with some crunching tackles,so he for me just pipped the mighty Quinn 8/10
11.THE LOCALS : Very friendly bunch,with the Chairman handing out sweets to the kids (obviously guilty of the £5 admission charge),but as on Tuesday the hard core oysterboys again making all the noise. 9/10
12.REFEREE : Apart from missing the Pully penalty I thought Mr Breakspear had a fine game in difficult conditions.7/10
13.PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS : Getting home in one piece.
14.SPECIAL AWARD FOR CHAIRMAN of the YEAR. Yes the Merstham chairman not only found me a top parking spot, he was also on hand to give me and the kids a warm welcome and of course the sweets.
