.CONDITIONS : A Cloudy , breezy day , pitch looked in quite good nick after all the overnight rain. 7/10
.GROUND : One main stand, one covered side (sort of) and one covered end, ground looked like it could do with a major refurb.5/10
.PARKING : Got there in good time and struggled to find a spot 6/10
.ADMISSION : £8 Adults,£4 kids,(or £9 to sit down) , again well overpriced for kids at this level. 4/10
.CUISINE : Plenty of people eating chips, but was told by my taster the food grill was dirty, and after seeing both cooks ‘popping out for a fag’ kind of put me off. 3/10
.BAR : Big open bar with sky sports, but had a portakabin feel about it,and £2.80 for a shandy.5/10
.TOILETS : Small, with NO loo paper and the others on the far side of ground were out of order. 4/10
.PROGRAMME : £1.50 basic content and looked a bit cheap,as for the quiz ,well Parsons has no competition here as it was’nt varied (6 questions on who won their leagues last year) 5/10
.CLUB SHOP : Probably best part of club,Well stocked with local produce, brought a friend a home badge for £3.50 8/10
.MAN OF THE MATCH : Both my picks came off. Campbell I though had a good first half, and Thomas with a goal line clearance looked solid at right back.
.THE LOCALS : Seemed friendly enough and really only made a noise when they scored.A few though were winding up Tom Parker and Simon Halsey after the game, which they took the bait. 7/10
.REFEREE : Mr Nichols had a fine game,it’s a shame though the little bald lino (with probably fat hairy legs) missed some decisions including a blatent foul on Neal about a foot away from him.
.PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS : The lino on the other side, stopping a clearence with a ‘bullet header’.
