The Travelling Oysterman

Dulwich Hamlet 28/10/8

.CONDITIONS : A shocker of an evening, horizontal sleet. The pitch had the look that two teams play regularly on it,and the floodlits where poor (far corner only had 3 working) 5/10

.GROUND : Large stand with plenty of seating, but only a shed on opposite side of ground. No shelter behind the goals. 7/10

.PARKING : For one of the bigger clubs, this was poor as I had found it full, hate to think with a bigger gate where they all park. 5/10

.ADMISSION : £8 Adults,£4 concessions,U12’s FREE,YES!!! 10/10

.CUISINE : Did’nt chance it,looked a little grubby, but was told burger was dry,I did’nt see many locals there either. 4/10

.BAR : Top quality bar overlooking pitch ( a must for the whimpy supporters),and a pint for London cheap £2.60. 9/10

.TOILETS : Not opened in ground but bar toilets clean and fresh. 7/10

.PROGRAMME : £1.50 one of the better reads with plenty of information and a crossword at the end (Mr Short please note) 8/10

.CLUB SHOP : Did’nt look for it,too busy trying to find a parking spot. N/A

.MAN OF THE MATCH : Liam Quinn for me,bonus goal, and a mighty roar every time he wins a ball. 8/10

.THE LOCALS : Plenty there,(including fat geezer who preferred to stand in the sleet even though he was 2 foot away from cover) but the set out makes it hard to create a atmosphere (again when the oysterboys got in to tune,we easily made more noise)

.REFEREE : I thought he had a pretty decent game, maybe letting the DH players get away with some time wasting near the end (their no 8 was twice the size of anyone else but he was always on the deck)

.PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS : KIDS FREE!!!!!!!!!!!

.SPECIAL AWARD FOR SERVICES TO COSTUME : Young Dulwich fan wearing a trilby hat on top of his hoodie.FASHION.
