Corinthian-Casuals - 18.09.10
1a. WEBSITE : Very Basic, little if no information 1/5
1b. FORUM : Could not find one 0/5
2. GROUND : Small compact ground with cover behind both goals and a small stand opposite the dugouts.
The pitch though was like a snooker table, so, I upped the marks here to 9/10
3. PARKING : Limited parking on tarmac but huge field for overflow, so never a problem to park 10/10
4. ADMISSION : £8 Adults, £4 Concessions. Usual price for Ryman's South, but Archie did get in for FREE 8/10
5. CUISINE : Burger £2.50,Cheeseburger £3.00.Nice food but bun and burger could have been a bit larger 7/10
6. BAR : Lager £2.60 (or was it £2.80), anyway still cheaper than at most, and the bar was modern and comfortable. Staff polite and Sky Sports was on the box (although it was in Italian???) 8/10
7. TOILETS : Plenty about, I counted at least 3, although they weren't the best, they were open 7/10
8. PROGRAMME : £1.50,although not the greatest content, I did discover that Graham Roope my hero of 70's cricket played in goal for Casuals, and the match report on last years game where a bullet header by Mark Lane won the game (sorry Sam) so for this classic 8/10
9. CLUB SHOP : No club shop, but stuff can be bought on line. No good to the travelling supporter though 2/10
10. LOCALS : A bit thin on the ground, but turnstile and programme attendants very friendly 7/10
OVERALL IMPRESSION.
Lovely little ground, with excellent pitch, nice bar, food ok and parking a plus, only let down by poor website and no club shop
