What a cracking game of football! The visitors had the best of the first ten minutes, but after that, there were chances either end. Lloydy came very close with a header from a corner that he probably should have buried; Cory had a goal ruled out for an apparent offside, but as the ball bounced off the keeper after some pinball in the area, the goal would probably have been disallowed for the handball anyway (the lino on that side had a pretty dodgy first half).

WTFC 3 Margate 2 (Friendly) - 7 August 2010

 This was a very encouraging performance, and there were signs not only of a re-invigorated team spirit, but a professionalism that has been lacking for a while - exemplified by some really hard-core warmdowns after the game. There were also signs of some decent possession football at times here, and win lose or draw, if we play like that, no-one will mind.
