With both the inspirational team captain and the impressive youngster, Cornhill, suspended, Seags was forced into making changes for this important 'six pointer'. Some of those changes raised the odd eye-brow before the game: Marcos Perona was pushed to right-back, Gooding found himself in the berth vacated by Quinn and Tom Parker got the captain's armband for the day.

It's funny how a good performance from the lads can alter your mood! The journey to Corinthian Casuals on a Tuesday night was marked by some trepidation for this 6 pointer against a team that got a good result against Met Police. But from the off the Oysterboys were in full song probably helped by the welcome return of the Choirmaster and Elwood. General Seager started his relegation battle with new signinDave Cory joining his former Ramsgate strike partner, Ian Pulman, up front. On paper and recent form, this looked set to be an even game with both teams on equal points before the game. But Corinthian-Causals had the disadvantage of having failed to win at home so far this season.
