It was a scorcher of a day at Burgess Hill, and the crowd of 300 plus particularly enjoyed the pre-game spectacle of the Town Crier announcing the game on the pitch. The Head to Head suggested this would be a close game despite Burgess Hill's decent pre-season record. Both teams started pretty brightly. Cory celebrates Bagley's wonderstrike

Burgess Hill Town football club is situated in the middle of a large housing estate yet only attracted 137 fans on Tuesday night. Maybe it was the cold; maybe it was the fact that there were various Champions League games on telly.
