By most accounts, Whitstable had given bottom of the league Molesey a lacklustre game on Saturday. The 1-1 score-line tells only half the story. One Ashford fan who had scouted Whitstable in that game commented on their forum that Molesey should have won 4-1! If Saturday’s performance against Burgess Hill was the worst in recent history then today’s game could surely not have been far behind? Oysterman of the match by a long way was Kevin Fewell. And if the keeper, who let in four, was by far the best player on the pitch, it really says very little for the rest of the team. That said, both veteran Whitstable players Tom Parker and Rob Thomas did pretty well amongst some other very ordinary performances.
